Resources for Partners
A journal for youths to start the conversation with their grandparents, starting with “What’s your life story?” By starting these conversations and recording them, it encourages a deeper understanding between youth and senior. Includes question cards and stickers.

The Youth Hope Intergenerational Toolkit provides a step-by-step guide to kickstart the Youth Hope programme, which aims to foster intergenerational bonding between youths and seniors. This toolkit also outlines steps to implement Youth Hope in the community, and how individuals and community partners can play a part to engage youths to support seniors and persons living with dementia.
This article lists examples of dementia-enhanced neighbourhoods in Singapore, where adjustments have been made to meet the needs of persons living with dementia. These examples include the adaptation of different aspects of the environment, including the physical and social environments, to aid wayfinding and support the wellbeing of persons living with dementia.
This article lists dementia-inclusive design guiding principles developed by subject matter experts, for laypersons, caregivers, and care professionals. They address the different aspects of the physical environments that persons living with dementia live in. By designing spaces around these principles, which include safety, providing appropriate sensory stimulation and supporting autonomy, person-centred care can be provided to persons living with dementia.
Ensuring the inclusivity of different spaces to persons living with dementia and their families is a society-wide endeavour. Like anyone else, they can participate in many kinds of activities and have access to different spaces when the environment is designed to support persons living with dementia. dementia inclusion.
