About Dementia-Friendly Singapore (DFSG)
The Dementia-Friendly Singapore (DFSG) is a movement initiated by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) in 2016 to address the growing needs for dementia support, driving initiatives to develop Singapore into a dementia-friendly nation.
Under the DFSG movement, AIC and community partners work together to lead initiatives in supporting persons living with dementia to lead independent and meaningful lives in the community, so that they can:
- Feel understood, respected and safe
- Participate in social initiatives meaningfully
- Access help within reach and are well-supported
- Be empowered to make choices and live with dignity
Join us, together with Giffy our mascot, on an inspiring journey towards building a Dementia-Friendly Singapore!
Campaign under Dementia-Friendly Singapore Movement
To reach out to diverse communities across the population, activities such as exhibitions, talks, and roadshows are organised to raise awareness of how we can create a caring and inclusive society for persons living with dementia and their caregivers. By coming together to foster mutual understanding and encourage conversations with persons living with dementia, we can co-create a kampung spirit where people from all walks of life embrace and support persons living with dementia. Let’s build a kind and Dementia-Friendly Singapore together!

The “Life Unstoppable! Living Beyond Dementia” exhibition was held from 28 February 2026 to 6 March 2026 at Century Square. This exhibition is the fourth edition of the #DementiaFriendlySG national movement. It guided visitors through a home- and community-inspired setting that showcased how persons living with dementia can continue to live actively and meaningfully. It highlighted practical ways for individuals, families and community partners to better support persons living with dementia and encouraged collective action to build a more inclusive and dementia-friendly community.
