The exhibition shares simple ways to create supportive home environments, engage in meaningful daily activities, and stay active and connected

Through this outreach event, the public can learn more about dementia and how each one can play a part to support someone with dementia.  The exhibition also showcases how persons living with dementia live well and with dignity, when supported by those around them.  AIC hopes to inspire the community to show more kindness, and more organisations, and community partners to come forward to contribute to building safe, inclusive, and compassionate dementiafriendly communities across Singapore.

Visitors can expect an immersive, home‑like exhibition that guides them through the daily life of a person living with dementia. The experience brings key messages to life across five themed zones:

  1. Understand Dementia – Visitors will learn to recognise early signs of dementia and debunk some common misconceptions.
  2. Keep the Mind Active – Visitors will discover activities that help persons living with dementia stay cognitively stimulated at home and in the community.
  3. Discover Kitchen Hacks – Visitors will understand how to create supportive cooking and dining experiences at home.
  4. Stay Active and Socially Connected – Visitors will explore ways for persons living with dementia to stay socially engaged and connected, as well as where to seek support in the community if necessary.

The exhibition shares simple ways to create supportive home environments, stay active and connected, and take part in meaningful daily activities. It also highlights community services such as Cognitive Intervention Programmes, Dementia Go-To Points, and caregiver support networks that support families at every stage.

Through interactive displays and practical tips, visitors gain a better understanding of dementia and learn how persons living with dementia can continue to live well at home and in the community. The exhibition aims to reduce stigma, encourage kindness and acceptance, and inspire neighbours, organisations, and partners to help build safe, inclusive, dementia-friendly communities across Singapore.

  • Participate in social initiatives meaningfully
  • Access help within reach and are well-supported
  • Be empowered to make choices and live with dignity
