  • Understanding the true cost of caregiving
Learn how to map out your income, daily expenses, and caregiving-related costs so you know exactly where you stand.

  • Making the most of support available
Understand insurance payouts, government grants, subsidies, and what CareShield Life really covers in Singapore—and how it fits into long-term care planning.

  • Sustaining yourself as a caregiver
Caregiving can feel like a marathon. This session also addresses the emotional, mental, physical, and financial toll, helping you recognise what’s within your control and how to better support yourself along the way.

Drawing from the speaker’s own experience as a young caregiver, the session shines a light on the often-unspoken financial and personal challenges caregivers face. You’ll gain simple, actionable insights to help you manage money worries, understand available support, and feel better equipped for the road ahead.

About the Speaker

Delia Wong became a caregiver at 19 when her mother suffered a stroke. Years later, her father was diagnosed with cancer, and she found herself caring for both parents.

During this period, her family faced significant financial strain. It shaped Delia’s belief in proper financial planning and sparked her commitment to help future caregivers avoid the hardship she once faced.

Today, Delia is an experienced financial consultant and an avid marathoner. She hopes to share with the caregiving community the insights she has gained from her caregiving journey.
