In celebration of the International Day of Older Persons (IDOP), IGA is organising a workshop specially curated for mild to moderate persons living with dementia and their caregivers this October at the National Museum Singapore Reunion Space.
Led by our experienced Senior Nurse Clinician from the TTSH Centre for Geriatric Medicine, this interactive session will impart skills and practical tips to caregivers in communicating and connecting with their loved ones.

Senior Nurse Clinician, Ms Ang Siew Ling is one of the lead nurses at the Centre for Geriatric Medicine, Tan Tock Seng Hospital. She has 13 years of experience managing patient with dementia and will be bringing her expertise to you at these sessions.
Here are some of the programme highlights:
- CHAT – Communication techniques and conversation topics to engage persons with dementia
- CRAFT – Hands-on art and craft session where you can take home your original handiwork.
- CONNECT – Group activity facilitated through music and movement
Persons with mild to moderate dementia and their caregivers. These sessions will be led by Ms Ang.
