What do we do?

Learn about the 10 most common signs of dementia and how we can keep dementia at bay. This talk will also share about what dementia is, as well as help us understand the difficulties faced by a person living with dementia. It will also help us to identify and better support persons living with dementia in the community.

About the Speakers

Janet Tan
Janet is a certified Spark of Life facilitator, a programme aimed at providing therapeutic group intervention for persons living with dementia. With more than 8 years of experience working with persons living with dementia and their caregivers, 2 years of case management with cluster support and over 20 years of volunteering experience, Janet is passionate about serving the needs of the elderly. She also works closely with caregivers on their caregiving journey.

Chan Chin Teck
Chin Teck is a Senior Programme Executive with Montfort Care’s GoodLife! Chin Teck works mainly with caregivers and those who might be at risk of mental health illnesses, advocating for mental health awareness amongst the seniors through screening and education.
